Rule Creation

  1. Log in to Foresight with the Google Admin account. Go to the Rules page and click on the new rule New rule button button in the bottom-right corner.Bulk update employees information in Google Workspace
  2. Select the ManualTrigger.Export Group Members to CSV in Google Workspace
    • Select the List mobile devices action.
  3. Then, you may need to give authorization for Foresight in the Google Workspace account. After a successful permission grant, you will see the Access granted status.
  4. Then, choose the parameters for the Columns field that you want. 
  5. The next fields are related to sorting, leave them as they are. 
  6. In the next field, you can get the devices registered to a specific user via his/her primary email. This is optional. so, leave it empty. 
  7. And Last policy sync field is used to get the devices that are synced in a specific date range. This field is also optional. Leave it empty too.
  8. Click on Add Next Action and select Email action.
  9. Now you have to select the recipient name in the To field. Then you need to fill in the subject and email body. Please note, in the email message body, you need to add Mobile Devices CSV Download Link variable. These variables will start with {{ double opening curly brackets. Finally, click on Review.
  10. Enter the Rule name (All mobile devices list) and click on Create.

Rule Triggering

You can see the rule has been created. Now you have to trigger the rule. So, click on the trigger icon. This process will take a few seconds.

Verifying Results

  1. Some notifications will arrive in the top-right corner. Click on the notification icon and then click on View all. You can also visit the Logs page from the left sidebar. The logs show the rule is manually triggered successfully. You can see the mobile devices exported successfully and can download the devices list from the associated here link.
  2. Also, the manager will receive an email with the CSV download link.
