One key feature of Safe Doc customer portal is to allow team members to co-manage the Safe Doc account. We understand that schools have different departments working together to procure educational software. We have it managed for you. It's very useful in the following scenarios.

  • You're an IT administrator but you cannot make payments via credit cards. You need to forward the request to the purchasing department. 
  • You were in charge of the school technology but you changed the role lately.
  • Your school has an IT team managing all technology matters, not just yourself.
  • You're a consultant purchasing software on behalf of a school. You need to be part of the license management. 
  • You are a teacher who initially applied for a Safe Doc trial license, but you need to hand the Safe Doc account over the IT department.

Instructions to Invite Members

You must be an Admin or Super Admin to invite members

Follow the instructions

  1. Sign into Safe Doc Customer Portal.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Under Members
  4. Click + to invite a new member.Click + to invite a new member
  5. In the Add member dialog, fill in the first name, last name and email address of the new member. Optionally, check Add as an Admin? to add the new member as an Admin role.check Add as an Admin
  6. Click Add.
  7. That's it. Safe Doc customer portal will send an invitation email to the new member.

Grant / Revoke Admin Role

You must be an Admin or Super Admin to manage other members' roles

Follow the instructions

  1. Sign into Safe Doc Customer Portal.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Under Members
  4. For a member, click Make Admin to grant the member with an Admin role. Click Revoke Admin to revoke the admin role for the member.click Make Admin
  5. In the popup dialog, click the button again to confirm your action.

Delete Member

You must be an Admin or Super Admin to manage other members.

Follow the instructions

  1. Sign into Safe Doc Customer Portal.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Under Members
  4. For a member, clickclick delete to delete the member.delete the member
  5. In the popup dialog, click the button again to confirm your action.

Member Roles

Safe Doc customer portal provides 3 roles with different permissions. The member who signs up for the 30-days trial is the Super Admin. The following matrix presents the permissions of the 3 member roles.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many members can I invite?

Up to 5. 

How can I remove myself from the account?

To remove yourself from the Safe Doc account, you can leave Safe Doc account

Can I have two Super Admins?

No, a Safe Doc account can only have 1 Super Admin. 

How can I transfer my Super Admin role?

Consider leaving the Safe Doc account. It will ask you to transfer the Super Admin to another member. Then ask the Super Admin to add you back.

Why can't I invite other members?

If you're in the Member role, you cannot invite other members. Ask the Super Admin or other Admins to invite or ask them to make you an Admin.
