Safe Doc chrome extension requests the following permissions from your users' or students' Chrome browsers.

  • Read and change your data on these websites. Safe Doc needs to access these websites to block G Suite features.
    • chat.google.com. Google Chat.
    • classroom.google.com. Google Classroom.
    • docs.google.com. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and Drawings
    • drive.google.com. Google Drive.
    • hangouts.google.com. Google Hangouts
    • jamboard.google.com. Google Jamboard app.
    • keep.google.com. Google Keep.
    • mail.google.com. Gmail.
    • meet.google.com. Google Meet.
    • script.google.com. Google Apps Script Editor.
    • sites.google.com. Google Sites.
    • www.google.com. Google Search.
  • Know your email address. Safe Doc's pricing is based on the user's email domain, so this permission is required for validating licenses. The email address is NEVER collected, see our privacy policy.
  • Read your browsing activity. Safe Doc uses the tabs permission to conduct web filtering tasks such as Block Google Drive Sharing Files or redirect pages in Change Chrome New Tab URL.
