We’re thrilled to announce the latest release of xFanatical Foresight - version 4.12.0! Over the past year and more, our engineering and marketing teams have been working tirelessly to bring you an even better experience. This release is packed with exciting new features designed to enhance performance and usability, along with a host of important bug fixes to improve overall stability and reliability.
New features
Templates
The highlight of our latest release is the Templates feature - designed to make setting up automation rules faster and easier than ever before. With Templates, you can bypass the complexity of building from scratch and instead leverage a streamlined, near one-click setup experience. We've carefully curated a selection of templates inspired by the most popular business workflows used by our customers, ensuring they’re both practical and impactful.
Each template comes with a clear explanation of the business context, the benefits of automation, and step-by-step guidance on configuring the rule. This means you can quickly understand the "why" behind each template and unlock the full potential of automation with minimal effort.
For example, the Automatically suspend inactive users in Google Workspace template provides a workflow to suspend a user in Google Workspace when the user hasn't signed into their Google account for 30 days, which is an essential security measure for IT departments in organizations to prevent unauthorized access and unusual activities.
Archive rules
As the number of automation rules grows, your workspace can quickly become cluttered with a mix of one-time-use, inactive, and actively used rules. This can make managing and locating current rules challenging, especially as workflows evolve at both individual and organizational levels over time. It results in a disorganized workspace that slows you down.
The new Archiving rule feature allows you to move unused or outdated rules into a dedicated Archive. This helps keep your active automation rules organized and easy to manage, making it simpler to focus on what matters most - your current, working automations.
If you need to reuse an archived rule for a recurring scenario, such as a seasonal automation, you can effortlessly restore it with just a few clicks. Unarchiving rules is quick and seamless, allowing you to reactivate past automations whenever needed without starting from scratch.
New actions
Copy Google Drive file
The action replicates the functionality of the Make a copy feature in the Google Drive app by copying a Google Drive file to a specific folder. By incorporating this action into an automated workflow, you can efficiently streamline the copying of large files, saving time and reducing manual effort.
Replace Google Docs text
The action replaces text in a Google Docs file, offering a more powerful alternative to the Find and Replace feature in Google Docs, especially when integrated into a workflow. For instance, automating the bulk generation of real invoices from a Google Docs template using data from a CSV file can significantly reduce the time spent by the accounting team and minimize human errors compared to manually creating invoices.
Pricing plan change
Starting with version 4.12.0, we're thrilled to launch the new Elite plan, which includes all the latest features, while retiring the Professional plan.
Introducing the Elite plan
xFanatical Foresight Elite users will enjoy the new Templates, Archive rules and new triggers and actions to automate, and exclusive access to future advanced tools designed to improve productivity and streamline their workflow.
Elite users also benefit from priority customer support, early access to future updates, and deeper integration with more Google Workspace services, ensuring a seamless and more efficient user experience. Additionally, the new features are tailored to help users automate repetitive tasks, collaborate more effectively with team members, and gain valuable insights through improved data analysis and reporting tools.
Sunsetting the Professional plan
We have discontinued the Professional plan for new trials. However, existing Professional users can continue to enjoy the current automation features without any disruptions. We remain committed to support our Professional plan users by providing ongoing security updates and ensuring the platform remains stable and reliable.
