Here's a brief run-through of what to expect from our hiring process. All of the interviews are virtual meetings over Google Meet.

Step 1 - Initial Interview

The first step in your path is a quick 15-min interview to assess whether you're a potential fit to our position. The interview is to learn your basic information, e.g. education, skills, work experience, job status. This interview has 1 interviewer.

Step 2 - Technical Interview

After considering you as a potential fit, we evaluate your technical skills relevant to this role, such as topic research abilities and technical writing skill. This interview appointment slot is set to 1.5 hours. Only 1 interviewer is in this interview. The interview is structured as follows.

  1. Technical writing challenge. You'll be tasked to complete a mini writing assignment in 1 hour. Before the implementation, you will be given some time to know the writing guide, understand the requirements, ask questions etc. 
  2. Please have your favorite text editor or documentation tool ready. Ensure your tool has a feature to export the work as a PDF file. This interview will be recorded.

Step 3 - Panel Interview

After you demonstrate a strong technical competency, we will notify you to book a 1 hour panel interview with more than 1 interviewer. The interview is pretty much non-technical. We mainly focus on your soft skills to find whether you're a good cultural fit to our company. 

Step 4 - HR Interview

This is the final 30 minute interview to discuss your compensation package and employment terms. Key oral agreements, e.g. salary structure, in the interview will be written to the offer letter.
