About the role

We are looking for an Associate UX/UI Designer (a remote, entry-level position) to join our software development team. This role is ideal for 2026 graduates who are passionate about user-centered design, problem-solving, and innovation. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences and interfaces for our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into thoughtful, user-friendly design solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in designing intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and senior designers to translate requirements into wireframes, low- and high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Conduct basic user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve design solutions.
  • Create and maintain design assets such as user flows, personas, journey maps, and style components.
  • Apply established design systems, brand guidelines, and accessibility standards in all design work.
  • Iterate on designs based on stakeholder and user feedback.
  • Support the preparation of design documentation and handoff materials for development teams.
  • Stay up to date with UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate learnings into daily work.
  • Participate in design reviews and team brainstorming sessions.

Skills and experience required for this role:

  • Graduating in 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Design, preferably with a specialization in User Interface Design.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Understanding of visual design fundamentals (color, typography, layout, spacing), user-centered design principles and usability concepts.
  • Basic ability to create wireframes, UI layouts, and interactive prototypes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow professionally in a collaborative environment.
  • Portfolio (academic, personal, or internship) demonstrating design process, visual design skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support collaboration with developers is a plus.
  • Experience with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Adobe Firefly) and conversational UI prototyping is a plus.
